English: Windsbraut was an German barque from Elsfleth. She was built 1877 as John Paterson by P. Hardcastle & Co., Sunderland for Ths. Clarke, Irvine. In 1889 she was sold to Carl H.H. Winters, Elsfleth and renamed Windsbraut. In 1903 the barque was sold to A/S Columbia, Tvedestrand (Norway) and renamed Columbia(or Colombia?). The Columbia was lost in 1906 near Falmouth with all hands.[1]
Dimensions: length × beam × depth = 223 × 36 × 22 ft (67.9 × 10.9 × 6.7 m) and tonnage: 1256 tons.[2]
