English: This model was used in several sets after Plüschow moved to Rome, from his late teens into early adulthood, These images cluster around numbers from 7000 of Plüschow's catalogue through numbers 8800. He travels with Pluschow to several locations around Rome, and to Pompaeii, where he poses both nude or in pseudo-Roman garb. After he disappears, his place as "favourite model" of Plüschow's is thaken by the model posing for the very famous shot "The Christian martyr".

In the book Der Körper des Kindes und seine Pflege, by Carl Heinrich Stratz, published in 1903, an image of his (#8711) is titled: "Roman, 18 years old".
This model is one of the rare ones who also posed for Vincenzo Galdi (Galdi and Plüschow did not like to share models), as an adult (which can have happened between 1903 and 1907): he posed, sporting a mustache, in some of Galdi's pornografic images, both heterosexual and homosexual. Two of these porn pictures show a double image of this model sporting an erection, that has since been dubbed "The Twin".

This model was identified many times online as Nino Cesarini, but without any evidence.
