English: Fallow deer and white deer have many variations in the colour of their coats; white varieties are a genuine colour variety, not caused by albinism, but rather by leucism. A white stag (or white hind for the female) is a white-colored red deer or fallow deer is especially symbolic in ancient mythology and heraldry.
