Wellington Road was the first area of New Brighton, Merseyside, to be developed by James Atherton in his plan to create a new seaside resort for the wealthy. The houses on its north side date to the mid-1830s and are all Grade II listed. The road forms the core of a Conservation Area administered by Wirral Metopolitan Borough Council and which extends northwards to Kings Parade.
