English: Located behind the former Lennard Arms Hotel at Abbey Street is a small 12th-century Romanesque church which is associated with Saints Peter and Paul Augustinian Abbey of Clones. This is, however, not the monastic church which was documented with its transepts and tower c. 1590 but eventually destroyed. The church is commonly named the “Wee Abbey” or simply the “Abbey”. (See the record of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland and the close information panel.)
