This two-story limestone building, designed by the Doig brothers in 1858, was completed in 1860. For over 100 years it served Wasioja as an elementary school but closed with school district consolidation. In 1963 it was purchased by the Dodge County Historical Society and serves as the Wasioja Township headquarters.
