- English: The Washington Navy Yard — former shipyard and ordnance plant of the United States Navy — established October 2, 1799, alongside the Anacostia River in the Navy Yard district, Southeast, Washington, D.C.
- The Navy Yard is headquarters for Naval District Washington and the Naval History and Heritage Command; and houses the National Museum of the United States Navy with Navy Art Collection, the Marine Corps Museum, and Leutze Park.
- The complex is the oldest continuously operated U.S. federal government facility. It is the core of the Washington Navy Yard Historical District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a National Historic Landmark, and was identified by the U.S. EPA as a Superfund site.
