Located at 202–208 West Gorham Street in Madison, Wisconsin, the W. C. Edwards Apartment and Store Building was designed by Balch and Lippert in Commercial Vernacular style and built in 1928 (see the Property Record online).
The building is clad in buff brick with darker orange brick accents, a low-slope roof enclosed by a parapet, replacement one-over-one windows, first floor retail spaces with recessed entrances with stone trim, first floor storefront windows, quoins at the corners, and stone trim at the fourth floor.
The Edwards Building is a contributing structure in the Mansion Hill Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
