English: This category is for Taiwanese people on a wholly or partly vegan diet, including those who have ever been vegetarian. A wholly vegan diet eliminates all animal products, including dairy foods like eggs and cheese. However, some vegetarians is stricter than them, because they didn't eat green onions and garlic for religious taboos. A partly vegan diet has meant that only as few as possible animal products and ingredients, or simply actively trying to make an effort to eat more healthy with a reduced meat and animal oil intake. Therefore, more and more people who have no religious beliefs have become vegetarians for health reasons. Moreover, some people choose not to eat meat for moral reasons in which may have experienced horrific experiences, like the personal experience of witnessing animals being killed.
