This series includes photographs taken by farm agents and other agency employees to document relief work, emergency conservation work, and other projects on the following reservations: Augustine, Baron Long, Barona, Cabazon, Cahuilla, Campo, Capitan Grande, Inaja, La Jolla, La Posta, Laguna, Los Conejos, Los Coyotes, Manzanita, Martinez, Mesa Grande, Mission Creek, Morongo, Pala, Palm Springs, Pauma, Pechanga, Potrero, Rincon, San Manuel, San Pasqual, Santa Rosa, Santa Ysabel, Soboba, Sycuan, Torres-Martinez, and Volcan.

The majority of photographs in this series document road and housing projects. Additional subjects include agricultural extension, irrigation, and health matters as well as many photographs of individual Indians. Most of the photographs are identified by reservation name, date, and subject, including some named individuals.

Some textual records are also present that relate to these photographs.
