English: For images created with poor typography, but where another person (but author(s)) fixed typography later.

Such fixes may consist of:

  • Making or restoring <text> text instead of <path> text (for vector images only);
  • Replacement of various ASCII stuff or homebrew thingies with proper characters;
  • Replacement of pseudonotation (〈a^b〉, 〈x_1〉, …) with regular notation (〈ab〉, 〈x1〉 resp.);
  • Forcing serif upon scientific notation (instead of sans or other substandard options);
  • Making variables italic, vectors bold, numerals and symbols Roman, and similar changes consistent with scientific conventions;
  • Text size, alignment etc.
