English: Turner-Koepf House, 2336 15th Avenue S in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The house, now known as Garden House and owned since December 23, 2021 by the Historic Seattle PDA, has been listed since 1976 on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally built on a different site for E.A. Turner in 1883 (Historic Seattle says it was built 1886 [1]), a Mr. Koepf bought it, moved it to its present site in 1906, and remodeled it from Italian villa style to Queen Anne style. The house was acquired in 1916 by Jefferson Park Ladies' Improvement Club. [2] (a Seattle Department of Neighborhoods site says 1923 [3]). For several decades it was the headquarters of the Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs, before being sold to a private owner in 2018 and then to Historic Seattle in 2021.
