English: Trains painted in British Railways green colour schemes. Note that there were several variations. DMUs (classes 100, etc.) and early locomotives were in plain dark green; later locomotives used two shades of green; Southern Region DEMUs (classes 201, etc.), EMUs (classes 401, etc.) and Mark 1 coaches wore a variation of Southern Railway malachite green.
