Magnus III (1240?-1290), in Swedish Magnus Ladulås, was King of Sweden 1275-1290.
The Tomb of King Magnus Ladulås is actually a cenotaph in Stockholm, Sweden. After an investigation in 2011 it is clear that the remains under the monument are about 200 years newer and cannot be the king and his family. It is thought however that they are buried somewhere within the church, which will be investigated further, according to articles (2011-12-09) in Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet.
