Deutsch: Kategorie:Verpressanker. Ein Verpressanker, auch vorgespannter Anker bezeichnet, ist ein Einbauelement, das eine aufgebrachte Zugkraft auf eine tragfähige Schicht im Baugrund überträgt. Er besteht aus einem stählernen Zugglied, das in einem Bohrloch eingebaut ist. Das Zugglied ist an einem Ende im Baugrund durch eingepressten Zementmörtel, den sogenannten Verpresskörper, verankert.
English: Category:Tiebacks. A tieback is a horizontal wire or rod, or a helical anchor used to reinforce retaining walls for stability. With one end of the tieback secured to the wall, the other end is anchored to a stable structure, such as a concrete deadman which has been driven into the ground or anchored into earth with sufficient resistance.
Not to be confused with Earth anchors.
