English: Thyatira 962 tons (GRT), was an composite clipper, built in 1867 by Walter Hood & Co. in Aberdeen for Aberdeen White Star Line (George Thompson & Co). Bought by J W Woodside & Co. of Belfast in 1894. In July 1896, when bound from London to Rio with general cargo, it was wrecked at Pontal da Barra[1].
