English: This is a 1/5 scale model of a three bay ("English") barn in Waldoboro, Maine (USA). It is used for educational purposes, people put the pieces together to have a mini-barn raising. The pieces are accurately made in proportion and joinery to the original barn in the background which dates from circa 1780-1810. This barn is now part of the historical society museum complex. The model was inspired by the National Barn Alliance (U.S.A.) program where they have barn models used to educate school children.
