English: The Moving Picture World was an influential early trade journal for the American film industry, founded in 1907 by J. P. Chalmers Jr. (1866–1912). In 1927 it was purchased and merged with Martin Quigley's Exhibitors Herald. A Spanish language version of the magazine, Cine-Mundial, was published 1916–1948.
