English: The Human Factor series of sculptures were commissioned from a Brisbane art collective, Artbusters led by John Underwood, for World Expo 88 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Originally cast-from-life in fibreglass which was sufficiently durable for the 6-month event, their enormous public popularity led to the sculptures subsequently being permanently distributed around Brisbane as part of the World Expo 88 Public Art Trail. Some were recast in bronze to make them more durable.
