Tergar (tib. གཏེར་སྒར་ gter sgar) means "encampment of the treasure revealer"

English: Yongey Tergar is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Bodhgaya, India, representing the Karma Kagyu and Nyingma schools. It was established in 2007 by Mingyur Rinpoche. One of the 17th Karmapas (they are two of them), by the name of Ogyen Trinley Dorje, is often in residence here and gives teachings in the compound next door (Monlam Pavilion). Hence, it's also known as "Karmapa Monastery".
