English: Tasmania was built 1902 by Workman, Clark and Co. Ltd, Belfast, Ireland as Telemachus for Blue Funnel Line (British flag). Her tonnage was 7,450 GRT and dimensions were 454.7 (bp) ft long; 54.1 ft beam, 32.3 ft depth. Steam triple expansion engine, single screw. Service speed 10 knots. Sold 1931 to Italian owners (Ditta L. Pittaluga Vapori) and renamed Tasmania. Scrapped at Genoa in 1933.[1][2]
