English: Taluk is a tribe name for a community of Bunun people settled in Zhuoxi Township, more precisely on the northern shore of the confluence of the Qingshui and Lakulaku rivers in Hualien County. The former name of the tribe is "Vavafulu", which means "many parasol trees" in the Bunun language. It is also named "Zhuole" by Chinese pinyin.
