Swissair Photo AG
English: Swissair Photo AG emerged from Ad Astra Photo AG in 1934. The company was managed by Walter Mittelholzer until 1937, and then by Werner Friedli from 1938. Karl Weissmann later took over the management of Swissair Photo AG. In 1972, Swissair Photo AG and Weissmann Vermessungen AG merged to form Swissair Photo + Vermessungen AG.
In 1997, the Swiss Aerial Photography Foundation was founded to safeguard the historical aerial photography archive. This was housed in the Dübendorf Aviation Museum from 2001 and has been part of the ETH Library collection in Zurich since 2009.
