English: Swedish American State Bank, later the Capital State Savings Bank, now Hamburger Mary's. 5400 N. Clark Street, Chicago, Illinois. Architect: Ottenheimer, Stern & Reichert. Date: 1913. "Sheathed in gleaming white terra cotta, this highly sculptural two-story building displays distinctive Classical elements and unusual ornamentation. Its second floor features large, arched three-part windows—one along the front, or Clark Street elevation, and three along Balmoral. These window bays alternate with battered columns that are paired at the corners of the building and have scrolled capitals vaguely resembling the Ionic."--"Neighborhood Bank Buildings", 2007.
