Surgeons' Hall, also known as Anatomical Hall, was constructed in 1792 north of Library Hall on 5th Street, between Chestnut Street and Walnut Street in Philadelphia. It housed the University of of Pennsylvania School of Medicine until at least 1807. In many of the below images, the first building is the Library Company of Philadelphia Building (1790-1884), the surgeons' hall is further down the road.
