English: Statue of Date Masamune in the Sendai City Museum. This statue was erected by Komuro Tōru(1899 - 1953) and was made public in 1935. Originally an equestrian statue, but only this part remained due to the metal supply during the World War II. In April 2023, this bust was relocated near the entrance of Mori no Teien near Sendai Ryokusaikan.
