English: Statue of Alexander Selkirk at the site of his original house on Main Street, Lower Largo, Fife, Scotland. Selkirk was a Scottish sailor who spent 1704-1709 as a castaway when he was marooned on Robinson Crusoe Island in the Archipielago Juan Fernandez, Chile.
