English: Saint Polyeuktos is a church built by Anicia Juliana between 524 and 527 in Constantinople. It was destroyed at the end of the 11th c. and used as a quarry : numerous architectural blocs found their way in the West after the 4th Crusade, most notably in San Marco in Venice (the so-called Pilastri Acritani).
Français : Saint-Polyeucte est une église construite par Anicia Juliana entre 524 et 527 à Constantinople. Elle fut détruite à la fin du XIe s. et utilisée comme carrière : de nombreux blocs sculptés furent transportés en Occident après la Quatrième Croisade, notamment pour le décor sculpté de la basilique Saint-Marc de Venise (les prétendus Pilastri Acritani).
