St Mary's church, Nun Monkton, North Yorkshire, England, is a 12th- or 13th-century abbey church - the rest of the abbey (which was actually a nunnery) being long gone. A 19th-century history of the village and abbey, and a description of the church before the Victorian renovation of 1873, is here. There is a modern (1996 and 2014) description of the romanesque building structure here. There is another online history of Nun Monkton and its priory church here.
