English: Speedonia was a four-masted steel barque built in 1902 with her first name Urania by A. McMillan & Son, Dumbarton for B. Wencke Söhne, Hamburg. 1906 sold to Rhederei Akt. Gesellschaft von 1896, Hamburg. 1914 sold to the Anglo American Oil Co., and was renamed Speedonia. 1917 rebuild as a motor tanker and was renamed Scala Shell. Broken up in 1930.
Her Dimensions were: length × width × depth = 330 × 47 × 27.3 ft (100.5 × 14.3 × 8.3 m) and tonnage: 3265 GRT and 3060 NRT. Rigged with royal sails over double top and topgallant sails.[1][2]
