English: Seileren was a Norwegian four-masted iron barque, built 1885 as full-rigged ship with the originally name Loch Carron by Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow for J. Hardie & Co., Glasgow. 1912 sold to A/S Christianssand (Sven Stray & Co.), Kristiansand, Norway, and was renamed Seileren. She collided 1915 and was sunk by the steamer Vittoria at Torr Head, Scotland, on voyage from the Clyde to Savannah.
Dimensions: length × beam × depth = 287.6 × 42.4 × 24.1 ft (87.6 × 12.9 × 7.3 m) and tonnage 2,128 GRT and 2,075 NRT. Rigged with double top and topgallant sails and royal sails.^[1]
