This category is for artwork created with funds from the U.S. Treasury Department's Section of Painting and Sculpture (later known as the Section of Fine Arts), between 1934 and 1943. The Section also supervised the creative activities of the Treasury Relief Art Project. The work of the Section of Fine Arts was entirely distinct from the better-known Works Progress Administration.
