English: The Seattle Block at 3rd Ave and Cherry St, Seattle (a.k.a. Ablemarle Hotel, and home for many years to Shorey's Old Book Store) was, along with the New York Block, one of the two 1890s buildings torn down to build the still-extant Dexter Horton Building. Both were built and owned by Dexter Horton, and both designed by William E. Boone.
