English: The open stilt hall with the bronze sarcophagus, erected in 1928 by Richard Ermisch as a war memorial for soldiers killed in action, amidst of graves of soldiers from both world wars in the Reinickendorf Cemetery. The sarcophagus was designed in 1874 by Reinhold Begas for the late Arthur Strousberg, son of Henry Bethel Strousberg. Due to Strousberg's financial constraints the sarcophapus was only cast in 1900, but never delivered and finally bought by the city of Berlin for this memorial.
