English: The Saratoga Springs Public Library, located at 49 Henry Street in Saratoga Springs, New York, was built in 1993-1995 and was designed by Architecture Plus of Troy, New York and The LA Group and Phillips Associates of Saratoga Springs. (Source: [1]) The library's original location, built in 1950, was at 320 Broadway at the corner of Spring Street in Congress Park, now the headquarters of Saratoga Arts. The founding of a public library was approved by the voters in 1945. Prior to that, the city's only library was the Saratoga Athenaeum, a private subscription library founded in 1885.
