English: The church was built in 1887, designed by William Hague and built by Carberys of Athy. This church was built on the site of an earlier church which had stood on the site for 100 years. In 1990, a baptismal font from the ruins of Templepeter church was placed in Saint Patrick's Church. The window over the altar is by Early's Studio, Dublin and dates from the 1930s.
