English: The church was built in 1985, designed by Mr Paul O'Daly and Associates, Dublin, and built by McLaughlin and Harvey. It replaced an earlier church on the canal bank. It is a steel frame construction. The bell was donated from a church at Lyons Estate by University College Dublin.
