English: The Roslyn Formation is an Middle Eocene (Lutetian) geologic formation that records the sedimentation around what is now Ronald & Roselyn, Kittitas County, Washington. The formation is best known for coal deposits worked by the Northern Pacific from the late 1800's through the 1950's. Occasional well preserved plant and vertebrate fossils have been described from the formation.
