English: The Room X is a gift of Latvia to the League of Nations in 1938. Decorated by the architect Aleksandrs Birzenieks, all components were prepared in Latvia and transported to the Palace of Nations where they were assembled. In 1993, Latvia restored the room for its 75th independence anniversary. New furniture was offered in 1995 as part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the United Nations.
