The Rock Creek Railway was a streetcar company founded in 1895 by the Chevy Chase Land Company to serve residents of new developments in upper northwest Washington, D.C., and Chevy Chase, Maryland. Streetcars ran on its tracks until the mid-1930s, when the service was replaced by buses.
