This bridge refers to the main connection between the boroughs of Windsor and Slough. It should not be confused with Windsor Bridge today a pedestrian and cycle bridge across the Thames which is the more direct link between the much medieval and Georgian hearts of Windsor and Eton. It should not be confused with the QE2 Bridge whih is a much bigger bridge connecting Essex and Kent in that (southbound) direction.
