English: Prudential Building, 114 Alaskan Way S. in the Pioneer Square neighborhood, Seattle, Washington, USA. It was built in mid-1904 by George W. Dickinson, vice president of the Seattle Electric Company, and Captain Elmer E. Caine, president of the Pacific Clipper shipping line, the Alaska Pacific Shipping Company and a well known mariner on the Alaska routes. Saunders & Lawton were the architects and at some point during construction, an extra floor was added to the building's design, completed by the end of January 1905. The Eyres Transfer Company and B.P. Kunkler & Co. paints were among the first tenants.
