English: Providence City Hospital was built in 1910. It was renamed Charles V. Chapin Hospital in 1931. The hospital was closed and sold to Providence College in 1974 and converted to academic buildings.
The buildings of City Hospital were renamed as: Howley Hall; St. Catherine of Siena Hall; Koffler Hall; Fennell Hall; Dore Hall; Sullivan Hall, and the Ceramics Building.
