English: The Polonaise (clothing) or robe à la polonaise was a women's fashion of the late 18th century that was revived 100 years later in the 1870s-1880s and again in the later 1910s.
NB:The term "polonaise" was also applied to a number of garments and accessories, both male and female, which were thought to be Polish in style, such as the 1804 hat à la polonaise.
