English: Pinmore was a steel-hulled four-masted full-rigged ship built in 1882 by John Reid & Co, Port Glasgow (Yard No 7) for Diamond "K" Co. (John Kerr & Co), Greenock. Dimensions: length x beam x depth: 310.6 × 43.6 × 24.6 ft (94.6 × 13.2 × 7.4 m). Tonnages 2,431 GRT, 2,356 NRT and 2,266 tons under deck.
In 1885 she was reduced to barque rig. In 1901 she was leaky and was temporarily repaired. Later her 1,000 tons of sand ballast shifted in a storm, giving her a 45 degree list. She was abandoned, and ten crew members lost their lives in the boats. The tug Tyee from Portland salvaged Pinmore.
