English: Piercebridge is a village in the borough of Darlington and the ceremonial county of County Durham, England. It is situated a few miles west of Darlington. It is built on the site of a Roman fort of AD 260-270, which was built at the point where Dere Street crossed the River Tees. The settlement has been in continuous use thereafter.
