Many of the images will have EXIF information which contains a different date from the copyright of the image. This is because the original image was taken at the date listed in the EXIF information, but that the publication date is the date uploaded or the picture is a copyrightable derivative work of the original, typically on the date uploaded. Thus the copyright date listed is correct for the image and not the date when the original photograph was taken.
