English: The Peggys Point Lighthouse is a tapered, octagonal, reinforced concrete structure with a plinth-like base, a tapered shaft, a flared cornice, and a lantern platform. The Lighthouse also features long, narrow windows each of which is capped with a simple concrete pediment, and a small vestibule with a sloped roof at the ground floor entrance. The Lighthouse is located on a barren rock outcrop at the entrance to St. Margaret’s Bay, and is visible from many vantage points.

Français : Le phare à Peggy’s Cove est une structure de béton armé de forme conique et octogonale reposant sur une base en forme de socle; il est doté d’un fût conique et d’une corniche en évasement avec plate-forme servant de support au fanal. Le phare comporte également de longues fenêtres étroites, chacune couronnée d’un simple fronton en béton. Un petit vestibule d’entrée avec toit en pente donne accès au rez-de-chaussée. Le Phare repose sur un affleurement rocheux dénudé à l’entrée de la baie St. Margaret et est visible de nombreux points d'observation.
