English: The Paterno Trivium is a small (.02 acre) triangular-shaped parklet formed by the intersections of Cabrini Boulevard, Pinehurst Avenue and West 187th Street in the Hudson Heights neighborhood of Upper Manhattan, New York City. "Trivium" is Latin for a place where three roads meet. The Paterno Trivium is named for Dr. Charles V. Paterno (1877-1946), a dentist and real estate develop who listed in castle-like mansion nearby called at the time "Paterno's Castle". The Trivium became a Greenstreets site in 2000. It was designed by Thomas Navin, and was dedicated on August 1, 2001, which would have been Paterno's 124th birthday.
