English: The Paterno Castle in the Hudson Heights section of the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1905 in the Gothic revival style as the residence of Dr. Charles V. Paterno. Paterno tore it down in 1938 in order to build Castle Village, a cooperative apartment complex.
